Schneider Electric Product Recall
Regarding the recent safety recall of certain models of Schneider Electric Square D brand QOTM plug-on neutral (PoN) load centers, please find linked below the detailed Consumer Product Safety Commission announcement in case you have not already received it.
In working with your homebuilder, DR Horton, your home has been identified as a home that may be affected by this issue. Further details about this issue:
(1) While this is a safety concern, Schneider Electric does not believe there is an imminent threat.
(2) Schneider Electric has received one report of a loose connection. No injuries have been reported.
(3) The products affected are the QO Plug-on Neutral brand load centers, manufactured between February 1st, 2020 and January 12th, 2022.
Schneider Electric and DR Horton are notifying the electrical contractor that originally installed your load center. This electrical contractor, or a different qualified electrical contractor, will contact you to arrange a time to inspect and if required repair your load center. Please note this process may take 30 to 60 days (or more) to complete.
Please use the provided link to complete a service request form, see below. This completed form will be used to confirm your inspection and if required repair of your load center. Please note that this form is being used not just for homeowners so please leave purchase order and purchase location blank when completing the request form.
